Project members Marilyn McGee-Lennon and Phil Gray (University of
Glasgow) presented a paper on Addressing Challenges of Stakeholder
Conflict in the Development of Homecare Systems at the workhop on
Software Engineering Challenges for Ubiquitous Computing. The
theme was how to develop software systems for the increasingly pervasive
applications of computing.

Project members recently contributed to a conference on Innovation in Health and Social Care Delivery. The work of the project was exhibited
through a poster that gives a high-level overview of MATCH: view
as image, or view as PDF.

Hexawrite System Demonstrated at CeBIT
|
The work of project members was recently exhibited at CeBIT, a leading
trade show in Germany. A demonstration was also given on Channel 5's Gadget Show. The Hexawrite prototype
was developed in a collaboration between the Fraunhofer FIRST Research
institute and MATCH members at the University of Glasgow (John
Williamson and Roderick Murray-Smith) in a project funded by the PASCAL
European research network.

New Technologies for Care at Home
|
The project issued its first press release
on the subject of New Technologies for Care at Home to announce
the launch of this four-year project from 1st November 2005.
